A Nottingham primary school has told some of its pupils to temporarily work from home as it suffers from a shortage of teachers due to coronavirus.
Year four pupils at Cantrell Primary School were unable to attend classes on Tuesday, November 30, as a result of staff having to self-isolate due to covid.
The school, based in Bulwell, said that no supply cover was available and informed parents of the news on Monday afternoon.
It added that year four pupils would be able to return as normal from tomorrow (December 1).
In its most recent newsletter, published on November 26, Cantrell Primary School said that it had seen a rise in positive cases in the previous week.
It advised: "Please remember that if your child, or someone in your household, develops symptoms then you must self-isolate and seek a PCR test."
