The New York Mets continue to be a disastrous mess, and WFAN host Mike Francesa has had enough.
He was watching the Mets’ Thursday afternoon game against the Philadelphia Phillies and their lucky bamboo plants, and watched as Jean Segura hit a walk-off dinger that swept their NL East rivals.
Francesa — known for so many screaming rants on the air about various sports topics including Deflategate, Odell Beckham Jr. touchdown celebrations and more — delivered another furious monologue into the mic. And there were cameras on him from his Mike’s On app to show his reaction, too. His take? “FIRE ALL OF ‘EM!”
“Don’t even bring ’em back to New York!” he yelled. “You know what, let the bus go the other way, please. Tomorrow night, let the ’69 Mets take the field!”
