Mansfield police station due to reopen after fire affected computer systems

Mansfield Police Station is due to reopen to the public as normal tomorrow, Saturday December 7.

It follows a temporary closure due to a "small fire" in the station which Nottinghamshire Police say was quickly brought under control.

The fire had affected a number of police computer systems leaving the front counter services unavailable.

People were advised to use the nearest station at the Kirkby-in-Ashfield  Partnership Hub in Urban Road.

The systems have now been restored and the front counter service will be available to the public in the morning.
