ORLANDO, Fla. _ Police say the man killed Monday during a fight in the Parramore neighborhood was the brother of a homicide victim found dead in the spot earlier this year.
David White, 24, was found shot to death shortly after 5 p.m. Monday at 742 West Jefferson St. _ the same home near where his older brother, 29-year-old JP White II, was shot to death in September, according to Orlando police.
Officers said David White was killed after someone opened fire during a fight inside the home.
Police said everyone involved stayed at the scene and officers had the shooter in custody a short while later. Officials haven't released the shooter's name or said if that person has been arrested.
Though the brothers were killed in the same spot less than three months apart, police said the cases don't appear to be connected.
Police have arrested two of three suspects wanted in JP White's Sept. 28 slaying. The most recent arrest was made last week when officers spotted 27-year-old Lonnie Tisdale driving through an Orange County neighborhood.
Officers tried to stop him, but Tisdale fled, according to police. A chase ended with him driving the wrong way and crashing into a median on eastbound Interstate 4 near Universal Studios.
Police in November arrested 19-year-old Trevon Wallace on charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm stemming from JP White's death. As of Tuesday, they were still searching for a third suspect, 19-year-old Desmond Teague.
