A man reported missing since Sunday from northwest suburban Round Lake has been arrested on a domestic battery charge.

Nicholas “Nick” Wu, 26, was last seen about 5 p.m. Sunday leaving his home in unincorporated Round Lake, according to a missing person alert from the Lake County sheriff’s office. He left on a longboard skateboard after an argument with relatives.

Sheriff’s deputies spotted Wu in a group of onlookers while paramedics responded to a woman overdosing about 9:45 p.m. Monday in Ingleside, the sheriff’s office said. He was taken to a hospital for a well-being check because of earlier “erratic behavior.”

He was released from the hospital about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday and arrested on a domestic battery warrant stemming from the argument with relatives, according to the sheriff’s office. He is being held at the Lake County Jail on $50,000 bail and is expected to appear in court later on Tuesday.
