Despite how things ended between the Pittsburgh Steelers and running back Le’Veon Bell, he still has love for the fans. A fan on Twitter sent a tweet to Bell on Sunday letting him know he’d be missed and Bell sent back a really solid tweet for everyone who has stood by him during the last two seasons.
Regardless of how things ended with Bell and the Steelers, how Bell has handled it has been very professional. Of course with how Antonio Brown’s departure has been, the bar is set pretty low for handling things with grace.
Bell signed with the New York Jets as a free agent this offseason. This is after Bell sat out the entire 2018 season in an effort to stay healthy and maximize his value on the free-agent market. Many fans didn’t like how Bell handled it and rightfully so. But despite all that there will always be plenty of Steelers’ fans who don’t care about what Bell did and still wish him well.
