It's a showbiz secret that many people aren't aware of but Kate Middleton once dressed up as Cheryl AND sang one of the Geordie star's hits for her friends.
And the occasion? Her very own hen do before marrying Prince William in 2011.
Before she became famous in her own right for being bridesmaid at one of the most watched weddings of all time as Kate and William exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey it was sister Pippa who is thought to have organised Kate's hen at a friend's home.
The guest list was said to have included Kate's university flatmate Olivia Beasdale, along with Marlborough school classmate Alicia Fox-Pitt and Rose Astor, the wife of William's friend Hugh Van Cutsem.
But it was the now Duchess of Cambridge herself that took centre stage at the party thanks to her dressing up as a certain Geordie singer.
And it was former Girls Aloud member Cheryl, also famous for solo number 1s like Call My Name and Promise This, who spilled the beans in her autobiography.
Cheryl revealed Kate's tribute to her came to light as she met the Cambridges backstage after performing at a concert for the Queen's Jubilee in 2012.
Writing in her tell-all book My Story, Cheryl said William joked she had 'some competition', adding: "Kate confessed that she dressed up as me on her hen night, in a bodysuit and split trousers, and sang Fight For This Love.
She even learnt the dance routine and was step-perfect by all accounts, as her sister Pippa and brother James also came over and told me all about it."
