Harry Kane has made no secret of his desire to win silverware.
The England captain admitted he is frustrated with Spurs' current standing, having failed to qualify for the Champions League for the second season running, sparking a frenzy of rumours surrounding his future.
football.london understands that Kane hasn't formally told the club's hierarchy of any desire to leave but with the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea both after a striker this summer it is a transfer saga that will likely drag on all summer.
However, the 27-year-old will have to put transfer speculation at the back of his mind for this summer's European Champions, with England facing Croatia next Sunday in what will be a repeat of the semi-final of the 2018 World Cup, which Croatia won.
And one of Kane's international teammates, Jack Grealish, has sent the striker a message - admitting that he loves playing alongside the mercurial frontman.
"I love that No 10 role. I’ll play anywhere, off the left or right, but that No 10…" he told the Guardian.
“I don’t think there is anyone better in the world to play with in front of you than Harry Kane.
"I feel we have a good connection in training and in games.
"I just go out there to try to perform and try to create that one piece of magic.”
Grealish nearly joined Kane at Tottenham in the summer of 2018 in a deal that fell through on deadline day.
He was desperate to play for Spurs, but Villa pulled out of the move after their owner held firm, according to Sky Sports.
