Saturday evening's opening practice session at the Isle of Man TT has been cancelled.
Following consultation with the Met Office, organisers pulled the plug on the session due to low cloud and mist.
TT Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson confirmed that it will now take place tomorrow (Sunday, May 26).
In a statement, Thompson said: “Tonight’s first practice is unfortunately cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
“Low cloud and mist is affecting the TT Course and is unlikely to improve. Tonight’s practice will be held tomorrow afternoon.”
The schedule will be:
- 11.45am: Mountain closes Barrule Park Ramsey to Bungalow
- 12pm: Mountain closes Bungalow to Creg Ny Baa
- 1pm: All roads closed
- 1.30pm: Solo Newcomers’ speed controlled lap
- 1.35pm: Sidecar Newcomers' speed controlled lap
- 1.50pm: Start Supersport / Lightweight Practice
- 5.30pm: Roads open except Mountain section
- 6.30pm: All roads open
