AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has shut down trolls who have suggested her partner is gay.
The former Strictly pro has previously said that he would never define his sexuality, with speculation around it reemerging as he takes part in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
But Quinnen, who has been dating Pritchard for two years, told The Sun that she was “100 per cent positive” that her boyfriend was not gay, adding that Pritchard doesn’t believe in labelling things.
“He has said ‘love is love’ because he really does believe that ‘love is love’, and it doesn’t matter who you love, whether that be a girl or a boy,” she explained.
“We have so many friends who are gay and we literally support them so much. I support anyone who has a boyfriend and is a boy, and anyone who has a girlfriend and is a girl. I am absolutely all for it.
“I am most definitely straight but I do believe that love is love.”
Pritchard shot to fame in 2013 as a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent.
He then joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, where he partnered Claudia Fragapane, Mollie King, Lauren Steadman and Saffron Barker. He announced his departure from the show earlier this year.
