'I got my ex's name tattooed on me - he cheated and dumped me a week later'

A woman who claims her ex is a cheating love rat got his name tattooed on the inside of her lip - before he dumped her a week later.

Kazumi, 24, was so sure she'd met The One that she made it official in ink to solidify their connection.

“I got the tattoo about a month before our one-year anniversary,” she said.

“My boyfriend was very surprised. At the time I’m not so sure if he was happy to see it but I was too loved-up to really notice.

“Unfortunately, about a week later I found out he’d slept with his co-worker when she messaged me confessing everything.

“Needless to say I saw red and was furious. I felt extremely betrayed and blindsided.

“The annoying thing was that I wanted to have an open relationship so I had no problem with him sleeping with other women – just as long as it was communicated with me.”

The model has been left with a painful reminder of her ex's betrayal with his name inked on her lip - and it's caused her to regret her decision.

She said: “At the time, my friends and I all thought [the tattoo] was awesome.

“Me and my ex had a very tumultuous relationship; on the outside we seemed like the perfect couple. I just thought we were fiery and passionate.

“I spent ages deciding what to get as a tribute to him."

She said she considered having his starsign or initials etched into her at first, but she decided having his full name was the perfect tribute and showed she was committed to the relationship.

Getting the inking done was also "so painful" for the model, who reveals the placement of the tattoo inside her mouth meant that she bled a lot.

She said: “Because it’s inside my mouth I kept producing a lot of spit so the tattooist had to keep dabbing me as I dribbled everywhere.

“It was very uncomfortable and so painful.”

But shortly after showing her new ink to her then boyfriend, Kazumi says he started working longer hours and avoiding her calls.

She said: "I’ve always been a swinger and polyamorous – I believe sharing is caring – but he wasn’t really up for it.

"We would have months of monogamy and then have a few stints where we would try being in an open relationship, depending on what we needed at the time.

“However, he was always a fervent believer that he wanted to be monogamous so really I was polyamorous only in title.

“Then he started working longer and longer hours and sharing less and less about his days."

She added that living together at the time made their problems worse.

And one night, while he went out to a work party and Kazumi couldn't get hold of him, she was worried something was up.

She said: “I was really worried that he might have got wasted and passed out somewhere so I checked his location and realised he was at his co-worker’s apartment.

“The next day he was acting so cold and when I called him out he said I was acting crazy and that she had just let him sleep on the sofa after drinking too much.

“Then he dropped the bomb that he wanted me out of the house because he’d suddenly fallen out of love with me."

As if she hadn't suffered enough heartache already, Kazumi's pain was about to get a lot worse when her ex's coworker got in touch.

"Days later she sent me a message confessing they’d slept together. We split up properly then and there."

Sadly, this isn't the only time the model has been betrayed as she explains another "toxic ex" also cheated on her.

Three years later and Kazumi still has the tattoo as a reminder of her love rat ex and is now considering getting it changed to something else – and she has a special word in mind.

She added: “It’s been a few years and unfortunately it hasn’t faded much.

"I think I’d like to change it to TOILET instead, much classier and less stupid, in a way.”
