Grandad hails £12.50 'miracle' cream that transforms skin after cancer treatment

A grandfather hails a £12.50 'miracle' cream that transformed his skin after it was left red raw and bleeding from his cancer treatment.

Kevin Wright, from Southampton, Hampshire, was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma - a type of skin cancer that affected his face and arm.

Last September, the 63-year-old underwent five weeks of treatment including radiotherapy and chemotherapy cream, which left him with red raw skin.

The condition caused the entire right side of Kevin's face to become blistered, cracked and extremely sore.

Prince Harry's pal's 'insulting comment' about Meghan Markle caused 'fall out'

Kevin's skin flared up straight after he started using the chemotherapy cream - which his wife, Penny, 60, researched online and found had happened to others who also used it.

Penny later advised him to try the Australian brand MooGoo's 'Irritable Skin Balm' after the pair coincidentally bought it for their grandson's eczema .

The grandad-of-three said: "My skin became red raw following my treatment - it was sore and extremely broken which would cause it to bleed a lot.

"After using the cream for just three weeks, people who had seen me at the beginning of my treatment were completely amazed by the difference in such a short period of time."

Doctors believe the cause of his cancer was due to his profession of being a taxi driver due to the continuous sun exposure on the right side of his face and his right arm.

The 'miracle' cream has stunned Kevin and even doctors as they noticed the results in a matter of weeks.

Penny said: "He's been using MooGoo Irritable Skin Balm on both his arm and face and, to this day, he doesn't have a single mark on his treatment sites.

"Staff at the hospital cannot believe their eyes and even our local chemist who has witnessed the treatment from start to finish - they're totally amazed.

"Kevin now religiously uses sun cream when working as he never knew to do so before his diagnosis - doctors strongly advise all full time drivers do so too!"

Laura Ball, Branch and Marketing Manager at MooGoo said: "We are delighted that our products have been able to help Kevin.

"Mostly people use our products for eczema, however we do also have a large number of customers who use our products during cancer treatment and we have received lots of great feedback.

"The fact that our products can really make a difference to people's lives, especially when going through something such as cancer treatment, is amazing."
