Glossier launch first ever hand cream with donations to hospital workers

Glossier has become a firm favourite among beauty fans for its skin first, makeup second philosophy. Following the success of its body cream and oil wash, the cult brand has just released another body product and it couldn't have come at a better time.

The beauty brand's first-ever hand cream has been two years in the making and is available to buy online at glossier.com for £16.

With people washing their hands more than normal due to the coronavirus outbreak, the new launch is perfect for dried out palms that are in need of some serious nourishment (ours definitely are).

Glossier's Hand Cream is a fast-absorbing formula containing nutrient-rich moisturisers, including meadowfoam seed oil and coconut fruit extract.

It comes in an ergonomic pack that's designed for on-the-go application, featuring a click-to-close cap to prevents leaks and spills.

Glossier has also decided to donate the first 10,000 hand creams to healthcare workers in the United States.

Emily Weiss, Glossier's founder and CEO said: "One of the most frequent requests we’ve received during this time is for a hand cream. As it happens, our community has been asking the same thing: We’ve been working on Glossier Hand Cream for nearly two years, and have been so excited to bring it into the world this spring.

"We designed Hand Cream with connection and community in mind — over the years, we’ve heard so many stories about strangers talking, even becoming friends, because they spotted someone using Balm Dotcom in the wild, and we had hoped that Hand Cream might also inspire connection through beauty."

The cult beauty brand is currently limiting customers to three hand creams per order. We'd advise snapping yours up soon, as they are likely to sell out quickly.

Meanwhile, Aldi has brought back its popular Benefit and Sand & Sky beauty dupes.

The items are available from Aldi's website right now and can be delivered straight to your door.
