Wild Rose star Jessie Buckley performed an anthem written about Glasgow before an audience of some of the world's biggest stars at the BAFTAs - and brought actress Renée Zellweger to tears.
The Irish actress sang Glasgow (No Place Like Home), which appears on the soundtrack for the film about a struggling single mother trying to make it as a country singer in Nashville.
The film was shot extensively around Glasgow and ends with the song by Buckley's character Rose-Lyn Harlan in an emotional homecoming scene set at the city's Celtic Connections festival and filmed at the Old Fruitmarket.
The rendition of the song, which was nominated for an Oscar earlier this year. was heralded as one of the best moments of the BAFTAs and an emotional Zellweger, who worked with Buckley on the Judy Garland biopic Judy, was seen wiping tears from her eyes.
While most of the famous faces in the crowd watched quietly, when the camera panned to Renée, 50, she was crying. As the man sitting next to her noticed her tears she smiled and grabbed his hand before wiping her eyes, according to the Mirror.

Zellweger and Buckley had been in competition for the leading actress honour at the BAFTAs, with the American star winning for her portrayal of Judy Garland.
Viewers were quick to notice the emotional moment.
One tweeted: "Yes Renée Zellweger I too am crying at Jessie Buckley's performance."
"Renée Zellweger is crying watching the Glasgow performance," another posted.
A third said: "If you think you don’t need to watch #BAFTAs because you know the winners, just know Jessie Buckley gives a live performance that moves several people, including Renee Zellweger, to tears. This woman is a star."
Paying tribute to Buckley during her acceptance speech, Zellweger said: "Jessie Buckley you are a superstar, I’m so proud of you for this evening. You elevate everything that you do, I love you and I admire you and I’m so grateful for our collaboration. Thank you for our friendship, thank you."
