Gary Barlow finds old jacket from Take That days as he praises his weight loss efforts

Gary Barlow shared a sweet moment on nostalgia with fans after finding an old blazer of his from his Take That days back in 2003.

The singer, 49, praised himself on his stellar weight loss efforts as the jacket is now far too big for him in size.

Sharing a snap of himself wearing the large blazer at home with his 700k Instagram followers, Gary penned: "Well this is a nice start to the day.

"I was just having a little clear out of a wardrobe and found this beauty circa 2003. Need I say anymore #barlowsbootcamp."

Just last week, Gary treated fans to a hilarious snap from his Take That heyday.

The throwback photo saw Gary embracing his floppy blonde locks and giving a shy smile to camera while casually dressed in a casual blue polo shirt.

Gary, now 49, estimated that the picture was taken 25 years ago in 1995, five years after Take That were formed by Nigel Martin Smith.

"I saw it pop up online this week and had to share it," said Gary. "I’m afraid the year is a guess as usually the background gives away where I was .... 1995 I think. I used to wear that top a lot around that time."

And all the Take That throwbacks are not coincidental, as the band has recently announced a forthcoming reunion.

The Never Forger hitmakers - originally made up of Robbie Williams, 46, Gary Barlow, 49, Mark Owen, 48, Howard Donald, 52, and 49-year-old Jason Orange - formed 30-years-ago and in 1996 Robbie famously quit the band and then the rest of the band split for good in 1997.

In 2005 Gary, Howard, Mark and Jason reformed without Robbie but now the Angels solo star is joining in and Jason - who left in 2014 - is not taking part .

The foursome are going to sing live over webcam for supporters and are doing the concert from their homes in a bid to raise money for front line workers amid the  coronavirus  pandemic on Friday night.
