Former Nottingham Forest forward linked with late deadline day move to Derby County

Former Nottingham Forest forward Jamie Paterson is reportedly a target for arch-rivals Derby County.

The 27-year-old is reportedly attracting interest from Derby, with Football Insider claiming the Rams are looking to sign the former Reds forward from current club Bristol City.

Paterson spent three years at the City Ground between 2013-2016, scoring 15 goals in 69 appearances for the Reds after joining the club from Walsall.

The 2015/16 campaign saw Forest loan Paterson out to Huddersfield Town, where he netted eight goals in 36 appearances for the Terriers.

Since leaving the City Ground to sign for Bristol City in 2016, Paterson has established himself as a regular figure under Lee Johnson.

The past three seasons at Ashton Gate have seen the forward make 114 appearances for the Robins, contributing with 16 goals.
