Former Man Utd youngster blasts Jose Mourinho and confirms club complaints

Jose Mourinho has been slammed by ex-Manchester United youngster Joshua Bohui over the way he was treated during his time at the club.

The 20-year-old left the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer after failing to break through into the first-team.

Bohui feels he wasn't afforded enough of a chance at United before he left for NAC Breda.

And the youngster has made his feelings known about former Old Trafford manager Mourinho, who left the club 12 months ago.

"It was difficult because I was facing — I'm not going to say abuse — but some unfair treatment by the manager at the time," he told the Manchester Evening News .

"I was getting frustrated by the way he was treating me: some of the words he was using, I felt it was unnecessary and it was something I mentioned several times to the club.

"I rejected the offer[s] because I didn't believe I was going to break into the first team with the way I was treated. They weren't really looking at me."

Since Mourinho's departure, youth products have been given more game time in the first-team by new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Mason Greenwood, Brandon Williams and James Garner have all been handed a shot in the Norwegian's senior side.

And Bohui admits he's happy for his former youth team-mates.

"I'm really happy to see some of my [former] team-mates break into the first team, it's nice to see them progress," he continued.

"I do believe Ole looks to youth and I think he's doing very well.

"Look at Brandon Williams stepping into the first team, Mason Greenwood, James Garner and the other day when a few of them got their debuts, I was genuinely very happy for all of them. I just hope they continue to get the opportunities.

"I guess it's a bit unlucky for me - but I don't regret my decision.

"Somehow I'm going to Manchester United again. I don't know what day it'll be, but I'm working hard in Holland and I know one day I'll play for Manchester United."
