Elizabeth's disappearance 'completely out of character,' say police

Ayrshire Police have issued an urgent appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of missing 54-year old, Elizabeth Fisher.

Elizabeth, from Skelmorlie in the north of the county, last made contact from the Greenock area around 2pm on Wednesday (December 8). Her current whereabouts are unknown, however, and her friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned.

She is described as 5 feet tall.

Inspector Shearer from Irvine Police station said: "Elizabeth Fisher has been missing for a number of hours now, this is completely out of character for her and his friends are understandably worried about it.

"We have a number of police resources out looking for Elizabeth and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."

If you have seen Elizabeth (pictured below), or have any information that could lead to locating her, please contact police on 101 quoting the incident number 2875 of December 7.
