An East Midlands IT firm is marking its second anniversary by launching a new training hub and expanding its team.
TrueMSP, which is based in Castle Donington, already offers managed IT solutions to more than 50 clients.
Now, it is expanding its services by providing its customers and staff with free training seminars and workshops at its new training and conference hub, which has been created in the firm’s Birlea Way headquarters.
The sessions will be run by directors Neil Shaw and Tim Rookes, along with members of the TrueMSP team, which has recently been bolstered thanks to the recruitment of Gavin Potter, who is the company’s new technical lead.
Neil said: “The IT industry has a notorious reputation for bad customer service but we set up TrueMSP with the intention to change that.

“We truly believe that any IT support starts with great customer service and caring about clients, rather than focusing on a purely technical solution.
“These free training sessions, which include essential information about cyber security and advice on the latest technologies, are another example of how we manage our clients’ IT services with a personal touch. Gavin’s recruitment will help to maintain and enhance our technical team’s excellent standards.”
Neil and Tim, who have a 45 years combined experience in the IT industry, launched TrueMSP after realising they had the same vision while working together at another IT firm.
In October, 2017, they took the plunge, starting out with the pair dealing with a handful of clients from one room in their headquarters.
The firm now has more than 50 clients and a team of six staff. Tim and Neil were also named as a finalist in the NatWest Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2019.
Tim said: “Neil and I started TrueMSP with an ambitious growth strategy which is being realised.
“We are so proud of what we have achieved in the past two years but this is just the beginning.”
