Eagles QB Carson Wentz opens up about his relationship with Alshon Jeffery

The Philadelphia Eagles have had their share of adversity over the past couple of season and no relationship in the team dynamic has been scrutinized more than Carson Wentz’s with Alshon Jeffery.

Whether it be the scathing Philly Voice report, or questions this season about Wentz’s leadership, the one common denominator in all of the rumors and innuendo is the name of Alshon Jeffery.

Wentz and Jeffery have solid chemistry on the field and the two have been spotted at numerous Sixers games the past three seasons.

Jeffery’s season is now over after he suffered a Lisfranc injury, and on Thursday, Wentz addressed his injured teammate and had nothing but praise for the wide receiver and offered some insight into their relationship when asked if their relationship was strained.

Wentz addressed his shortage of wide receivers currently available on the Eagles roster, saying that “the key is keeping everyone confident and on the same page,” while joking about the constant change at the skill positions.
