Eagles projected win total suggest they’ll be a playoff team in 2019

The Philadelphia Eagles made some significant upgrades during free agency, and now the team that fought to make the playoffs last season is expected to compete for home-field advantage in the stacked NFC. Sportsbook operator CG Technology projected win totals for all 32 teams via ESPN and the Philadelphia Eagles were projected to win 9.5 games in 2019, the fourth-best total among NFC squads.

In the NFC East, the New York Giants are tied with five other teams at the six-win projection, including the Washington Redskins. The Dallas Cowboys came in below the Birds, with a projected win total of 8.5 wins, a downslide from last seasons 10 wins.

The defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, top the list with 11 projected win, followed by the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs, who have the next-highest over/under at 10.5.

The Arizona Cardinals, who own the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL draft, are tied with the Miami Dolphins for the lowest win total at five.
