Dubliners 'runny pudding' fry up leaves locals horrified

Irish people have been left horrified and disgusted after a Dublin woman posted a picture of her fry up - with a runny white pudding.

Yes, you read that correctly.

It all started when Erica Fleming took to Twitter during Storm Barra to declare "nothing like a fry when the wind howls outside" alongside a picture of what we can presume was her dinner.

But we must now warn you that what you are about to see could cause you to become upset.

Because this is what a 'runny pudding' is.

Apparently, it's an old Dublin delicacy.

Whatever it is, it caused a good bit of uproar on social media.

One user responded to the post saying: "I was today years old when I found out about runny white pudding and there's no doubt about it the Dubs need to be stopped. Coddle can be treated as an anomaly but f**k that, runny white pudding???!"

A second mused: "Runny white pudding isn't real. It's just another trick by those Dubs to put Culchies off arriving for the big Christmas shop."

While a third said: "Runny white pudding everyone. Possibly the worst thing to emerge from the last 24 months."

Another chimed in with: "I think our memories of Storm Barra will fade with the passing of time, but we will be haunted forever by the image of runny pudding."

While a fifth made a good point when saying: " I’m scared to ask if there’s such a thing as runny black pudding because I’m fairly sure that’d just be blood."

Erica's picture even made it onto the Ray D'Arcy show!
