Derrick Henry had more yards in 2020 than most RBs have from 2019-20

When a player records a legendary season like Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry did in 2020, there will inevitably be some ridiculous stats that result from it.

And one of those kinds of stats was recently shared by NFL on CBS on Twitter.

The outlet notes that Henry, who compiled 2,027 rushing yards last season and became the eighth player in NFL history to reach the milestone, had more in one season than all but five backs have totaled the past two seasons.

Those five backs are as follows:

Dalvin Cook: 2,692

Nick Chubb: 2,561

Ezekiel Elliott: 2,336

Josh Jacobs: 2,215

Aaron Jones: 2,188

Henry has totaled a combined 3,567 rushing yards the past two seasons, which is 875 more than the next closest back (Cook) in that span.

As if that wasn’t enough, also consider that Henry out-rushed entire teams last season, with nearly two dozen NFL squads totaling fewer rushing yards than the Alabama product had by himself.

The man isn’t human, plain and simple.
