JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - A dangerous pitch brought play to a close 20 minutes early on the third day between South Africa and India with the home side chasing an unlikely target of 241 in the third and final test on Friday.

The third and final Test between South Africa and India will resume as scheduled today after day three was curtailed early due to fears about the safety of the Johannesburg pitch.

Johannesburg (AFP) - Play was called off because of a dangerous pitch at Wanderers Stadium on Friday after South African batsman Dean Elgar was hit on the grille of his helmet by a short ball.
