Covid-19 dispute: Amazon v. France

Amazon is one of the big winners of the coronavirus pandemic with a surge in people shopping online during lockdown. But in France, a dispute with workers over safety conditions at their warehouses has seen the company shut down operations there for more than four weeks.

We asked Amazon to come on the show but they didn't respond to our request.

Stephen Carroll talks to the Solidaires union's national secretary Stéphane Enjalran plus Benoît Berthelot, a French journalist who has written a book called "The world according to Amazon" after three years investigating how the company works.
