Coronavirus Scotland: Nicola Sturgeon to announce phase three of lockdown easing today

Today's the day when Nicola Sturgeon is expected to confirm the relaxation of a host of restrictions across Scotland.

She will address the country at lunchtime with her latest review of lockdown restrictions.

It comes the day after quarantine restrictions were lifted on people arriving in Scotland from 57 countries around the world.

And it's expected that she'll ease restrictions on a host of businesses, including hairdressers, shopping malls and inside bars and restaurants.

A confirmation of the plan laid out two weeks ago will also see family and friends allowed to socialise indoors for the first time in months, and cinemas, galleries and libraries reopen.

Meanwhile, here's a list of anticipated changes and the dates we're expecting them to happen.

July 10 - extended groups to meet outdoors; and a maximum of three households indoors

July 13 - organised outdoor contact sports for children and young people resart; dentists to see registered patients; increasing capacity within community optometry practices for emergency and essential eye care; shopping malls can re-open

July 15 - all holiday accommodation returning; pubs, restaurants and indoor hospitality reopening; hairdressers and barbers trading; museums, galleries, cinemas, monuments, libraries open; all childcare providers restarting
