Christopher Jullien makes Celtic fan's night with classy gesture at full time whistle

Christopher Jullien showed a touch of class following Celtic's win over Nomme Kalju as he handed over his debut shirt to a fan.

The £7million defender made his first competitive start for Neil Lennon's as a 2-0 win in Tallinn eased passage to the Champions League third qualifying round.

He partnered Jozo Simunovic in a back four and looked comfortable throughout against the Estonians.

A small but noisy band of supporters made the trip across the continent to see their heroes and one was rewarded at the full-time whistle.

Jullien headed for the away end after the final whistle and was greeted by an appreciative crowd.

The gesture capped a fine night for Neil Lennon's side as they set up a third round clash with Romanian champions Cluj.

An own goal from Aleksandr Kulinits opened the scoring early on before substitute Marian Shved struck a classy debut goal in stoppage time/

Olivier Ntcham also impressed as he was handed a first start since his controversial comments on leaving Parkhead and the standard of Scottish football.

But the Frenchman ran the show in midfield and was singled out for praise from Lennon afterwards.

The Celtic boss told BBC Scotland: "I thought Olivier Ntcham was outstanding considering that’s his first run out really since he came back.

There were lots of positives. It was a great goal from Marian when he came on.

"We’re in a good place in the minute, I’ve obviously got (Callum) McGregor and (James) Forrest to factor in and (Kristoffer) Ajer and (Odsonne) Edouard in as well, the depth is looking a lot better now."
