BRIEF: Tuesday's recap: White Sox 6, Rangers 2

March 30--Todd Frazier and Adam Eaton homered to help lift the White Sox to a 6-2 victory over the Rangers on Tuesday at Camelback Ranch. Jimmy Rollins was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

At the plate: Sox catcher Alex Avila had just his second hit of the spring, a two-run single to right field in the fourth inning.

On the mound: Sox left-hander Chris Sale finished Cactus League play with a 3.78 ERA over 162/3 innings in three starts.

In relief: Nate Jones, David Robertson and Zach Duke maintained their scoreless springs out of the bullpen.

Key number: 2004 -- The last time the Sox had a winning spring training record. They secured a winning record with Tuesday's victory, moving to 15-12-1.

The quote: "I made one kind of silly pitch (on Hanser Alberto's homer). Other than that, it was good. It was what I wanted to do before we get going out there -- raise the intensity level a little bit, have a little bit of success and hopefully roll that into the next one." -- Sale

Up next: At Reds, 3:05 p.m. Wednesday. LH Jose Quintana vs. RH Josh Smith.
