BRIEF: Janet Jackson still plans to hold June 4 show at Allstate Arena

Jan. 14--Janet Jackson said Thursday she still plans to hold her scheduled June 4 show at the Allstate Arena.

Jackson announced last month she would have to reschedule her 2016 tour dates to undergo surgery. Though she did not reveal the purpose of the operation, she denied rumors she has cancer.

Jackson was supposed to perform several shows in January and February in North America. The rescheduled "Unbreakable" World Tour to promote her 2015 album of the same name is now slated to kick off in North America May 14 in Las Vegas and wrap up in August in Cleveland.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster for the 8 p.m. Rosemont show.

Jackson sold out three shows in November at the Chicago Theatre.
