Bothwell man fined after threatening 12-year-old boy

A Bothwell man who grabbed and threatened a boy aged 12 has been fined £200 and must pay his young victim the same amount in compensation.

Mark Agnew, of Knockburnie Road, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.

The 42-year-old admitted assaulting the lad in Knockburnie Road on April 13 by seizing him, brandishing a pole at him and making threats.
