BGT fans expose 4MG's magic trick - and claim Stephen Mulhern already taught it to viewers

Unimpressed Britain's Got Talent viewers were quick to expose young magicians 4MG's magic trick this evening - and even claimed that they had seen Stephen Mulhern teach it to viewers before.

During the act, one of the young magicians took Amanda's hand and managed to get an x appear in her palm.

While she and Simon Cowell were stunned by the trick, viewers weren't quite so satisfied.

One tweeted: "That was terrible! How obvious was it that that guy flicked the glass I can do that “x” on the hand trick. @StephenMulhern taught us viewers it on his old magic show #BGT."

While another commented: "The boy in 4MG moved Amanda’s hands abit higher off the desk.... he put the X on her hand then!! #BGT."

A third remarked: "When that guy raised Amanda's hands up thats when he put X on her palm #BGT #4MG."

"So when he lifted her hand up he put that mark on her #bgt #bgtfinal," another agreed.

Earlier, Amanda also left viewers cringing after noticing she suffered a bit of an awkward moment following Ben Hart's act.

The handsome magician showed off his talents by using an anecdote about his grandfather's tale in India.

He enchanted the audience by telling them that his grandfather met a magician in the monsoon who began to shrink a pack of cards and then disappeared into the rain.

Ben then acted out the story by shrinking his own pack of cards, which turned so small that he blew the fragments into the air.

Following the trick Amanda stood up to clap, but looked unsure when none of the other judges joined her and sat back down.

And viewers were a little confused.

One tweeted: "Awkward, shall I shan't I stand moment... What you all doing? Staying Sitting it is then #BGT."

While another commented: "WTAF was that all about? #BGT."

A third remarked: "this show is so fakeeeeee. Amanda stood up then sat back down then they all stood up‍♀️ #BGT."

"#BGT Big fan of Amanda releasing nobody else was standing up so sitting back down again," another wrote.

Tonight, 11 acts will perform for a chance to win £250,000 and a place on the Royal Variety Performance.

Among those on stage are wildcard act Libby and Charlie, who are joined by X, Jonathan Goodwin, Flakefleet Primary School choir, Dave & Finn, Siobhan Phillips, 4MG, Kojo Anim, Colin Thackery, Ben Hart and Mark McMullan.

Chelsea pensioner Colin Thackery is currently favourite to win the competition and has said that it is his dream to perform in front of the Royal Family after serving in the military for 25 years.
