Where have you been Valkyrie?
The latest character posters for Avengers: Endgame have confirmed that Tessa Thompson will return as her Thor: Ragnarok character Valkyrie in the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War and that she survived the Decimation.
The poster of the character was revealed as being in-colour, letting us know that she survived the snap.
But where has she been?
The female warrior was absent from Avengers: Infinity War, despite her last appearance in Thor: Ragnarok showing her on the Asgardian ship with Thor, Loki, and Heimdall.
The opening scenes of Infinity War saw much of the Asgardians - including Loki and Heimdall - killed by Thanos, leaving Thor very much alone.
Here are a few theories as to where Valkyrie has been.
On Earth
Perhaps Valkyrie had already journeyed onwards to Earth?
Knowing how well Thor gets on with us Earth-dwellers, the female warrior may have decided to check out the human race.
If she will be fighting alongside the Avengers, then maybe she's already nearby waiting to help out.

On another ship
This one we think is more likely - perhaps she and a group of some of the Asgardian survivors had already departed the main ship that was attacked by Thanos before he and his minions arrived.
Also absent is our favourite rock-warrior Korg (Taika Waititi) so maybe they're together?
Either way, we doubt all the Asgardians are dead because that would just be bleak.
Also, when the Russo brothers suggested her survival last year they mentioned escape pods, via CBR.
Perhaps this is the way she got out, but where has she gone since?
Asgard
Surely we can't have waved goodbye to Asgard forever?
Whether in the ruins of her old home or on a new Asgard entirely, we expect we will see a new home for the Asgardian race very soon.
Could Valkyrie already be setting up a new home for her people?
