Andrew Sendejo returning to Vikings after being claimed off waivers from the Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings could potentially meet again this season in the playoffs and the team from the Twin Cities just pulled the trigger on a move that should only add more intensity to the rivalry.

Tom Pelissero is reporting that the Vikings have claimed safety Andrew Sendejo off waivers from the Eagles.

Sendejo signed with the Eagles as a free agent this past offseason after eight seasons spent with those same Minnesota Vikings who just made the claim.

In nine games this season with the Eagles, Sendejo recorded 36 tackles, one sack, and one interception in 241 snaps (41 percent).

The Eagles will recoup a compensatory pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by waiving Sendejo per NFL Media.
