Twenty-one Navy personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 at a major naval facility in Mumbai after which tests are being carried out on all the people who came in contact with them in the force.

While this is the first confirmed case of Covid-19 in the Indian Navy, the Army has so far reported eight positive virus cases.

The National Operations Centre in the capital Port Moresby is now in lockdown, and all workers and visitors to the centre in the past seven days are being tested, including PM James Marape.
