The investigation into potential tampering regarding the sign-and-trade of Lonzo Ball is not over.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver said on Monday that the tampering investigations looking into the Ball acquisition as well as the sign-and-trade involving Kyle Lowry, are ‘ongoing’, per Marc Stein.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski announced on Aug. 7 that investigations had opened after Lonzo and the Bulls reached an agreement on a deal as soon as the free agency period opened. If found guilty, the punishments range from hefty fines, suspensions, and forfeiture of draft picks.
On a recent episode of “The Hoop Collective”, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst explained that executives around the league were asking around when decision would be made regarding potential tampering violations.
