Lipreader claims Trump may present Knicks with NBA trophy if they win finals

  • The discussion, observed by forensic lip-reading expert NJ Hickling, also involved an issue Dolan had with an unknown person, with Trump suggesting he could resolve it if he returned for Game 4.
  • Trump was met with booing when shown on the Jumbotron during the national anthem at Madison Square Garden, despite being a guest of Dolan.
  • Following the game, Trump asserted on Truth Social and to reporters that he believed he received a largely positive and enthusiastic reception from the crowd.
  • His attendance led to heightened security, canceling a popular watch party and causing long lines for fans, though NBA Commissioner Adam Silver welcomed Trump's presence.
