Malik, known for hits like 'Pillowtalk' and 'Dusk Till Dawn,' will debut the album with the single 'What I Am,' scheduled for release on March 15. In a teaser video shared on Instagram, Malik expressed his desire for listeners to gain deeper insight into his personal experiences, ambitions, and fears through the album.

The album, co-produced by Dave Cobb, a renowned producer in country and rock genres, showcases Malik's raw emotions and storytelling. Cobb praised Malik's voice for its ability to convey a range of emotions, from love and loss to triumph and humanity.

Malik revealed that he spent years writing the album alone at his Pennsylvania home before collaborating with Cobb. The singer emphasized his desire for a direct connection between his music and his audience, aiming for authenticity and vulnerability in his work.

In a previous interview, Malik hinted at a departure from his usual sound, promising a record that delves into real-life experiences and narratives. He mentioned that his daughter is referenced in the album, adding a personal touch to the upcoming release.

With Room Under the Stairs, Zayn Malik is poised to offer fans a new perspective on his artistry, showcasing a blend of introspection, storytelling, and emotional depth. The album's release is highly anticipated, promising a unique and intimate musical journey for listeners.
