Wife Of Myrtle Beach Pastor Died From Self-Inflicted Gunshot

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis visits Myrtle Beach

The medical examiner has disclosed that Mica Miller, the wife of a pastor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Robeson County Medical Examiner, Dr. Richard Johnson, confirmed this finding, stating that the nature of the wound was consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office has acknowledged these findings and is planning to release more detailed information to support the medical examiner's report.

Miller's body was discovered in Lumber River State Park, located about an hour away from Myrtle Beach. Prior to the medical examiner's report, Pastor John-Paul Miller informed his congregation that his wife had struggled with mental health issues for years.

Recent reports from the Horry County Sheriff's Office revealed incidents of harassment leading up to Miller's death. She reported finding a razor blade in her tire and suspected that someone was following or watching her. Despite her concerns, there was insufficient evidence to link these incidents to a specific suspect.

Miller had filed multiple support requests in the past year, indicating ongoing challenges in her personal life. Following her tragic death, her family and friends have been advocating for justice under the hashtag 'JusticeforMica.'

In response to the situation, Solid Rock Church announced that Pastor John-Paul Miller has been temporarily relieved of his ministerial duties to focus on healing and guidance. The community in Myrtle Beach has been deeply affected by Miller's passing, with many expressing support for her and her family during this difficult time.
