Where the School of Rock kids are now - tragic death, co-star romance and music careers

The much-loved cast of School of Rock will this year be reunited to celebrate the film's 20th anniversary.

Actor Jack Black, who starred in the smash-hit film as the beloved substitute music teacher Dewey Finn, announced: "We're gonna get together and have a 20-year anniversary. We like to jam. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the grownups from 'School of Rock'.

"All those kids, dig this, they were 10 years old when we made that movie and now they're all, like, 30."

The musical movie, which was released in 2003, featured a number of stars including Miranda Cosgrove, Sarah Silverman, Joan Cusack and Mike White - but where are they now?

Here, we take a look back at what has happened to all the kids following the cult comedy's success...

Brian Falduto (Billy)

Brian Falduto, who played Billy, says he learned a lot about himself after appearing in the film.

Speaking to NowThis Entertainment, Brian admitted that after playing an effeminate costume designer in the movie, he was known as 'the gay kid' at school and experienced severe homophobic bullying.

School of Rock was actually Brian's only on-screen role.

He soon decided to go on to Wagner College in New York, graduating in Theatre Performance and Arts Administration.

The performer has since been working in music, and has released his own country album called Gay Country.

Brian also now works as a life coach - with his business The Gay Life Coach - helping other people who've experienced what he did growing up.

The popular music fan was taken to hospital but pronounced dead an hour later.

Jack Black paid tribute to him calling him a "wonderful man".

Following the film, Kevin had gone on to play drums in a series of bands.

According to the US newspaper Chicago Sun-Times, he'd just started a new band shortly before his death, which had played live for the first time the weekend before.
