Here's when 'Dune: Part Two' is streaming online

"Dune: Part Two" review.

Get ready to head back to the desert planet of Arrakis.

"Dune: Part Two" was a veritable force of nature at the box office since it debuted March 1, earning more than $665 million globally so far. Naturally, fans are wondering when they can skip the theaters — IMAX, preferably! — to watch the plight of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and company at home.

Luckily, the Max release date for "Dune: Part Two" has been announced, so if you have a subscription, you can stream to your heart's content.

When is "Dune: Part Two" coming to Max?

Most Warner Brothers Discovery films are given at least a 45-day theatrical window before they become available on either paid video-on-demand or Max. But the window doesn't apply to every movie. For example, "Barbie" hit PVOD on Sept. 12, barely a month after its theatrical release, and didn't drop on Max until December 15.

However, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav previously teased that "Dune: Part Two" would likely end up on Max in spring 2024. We initially guessed that the date would be on or after May 14 and we were very close!

"Dune: Part Two" will start streaming on Max on May 21.

'Dune: Part Two' digital release date

Denis Villeneuve's film has become the highest-grossing film of 2024 at the domestic and worldwide box office. Anyone who skipped the theater or just wants to rewatch it can do so very soon.

"Dune: Part Two" became available to rent and purchase on April 16. Order now on Amazon or Apple.

The digital version features dozens of special features including four “Filmbooks” about different aspects of the movie such as their world’s scarce resource water and The Reverand Mother, in addition to several featurettes such as
An Ensemble for the Ages," "Chakobsa Training," "Creating the Fremen World," "Finding the Worlds of ‘Dune,’" "Buzz Around the New ‘Thopter,’" "Worm-Riding" and "Becoming Feyd."
