UFC on ESPN 47: How to watch Strickland vs. Magomedov, start time, fight card, odds

The UFC is back on its home turf in Las Vegas on Saturday with UFC on ESPN 47 at the UFC Apex with middleweights at the top of the lineup.

Here’s how to watch UFC on ESPN 47 with a pair of 185-pound contenders in action.

Broadcast and streaming info

UFC on ESPN 47 has a main card that begins at 7 p.m. ET and airs on ESPN, as well as ESPN+. The prelims air on ESPN and stream on ESPN+ beginning at 4 p.m. ET.

Main event: Sean Strickland

In the main event, Sean Strickland (26-5 MMA, 13-5 UFC) will try to make it two straight in 2023 after back-to-back losses in 2022 to eventual middleweight champion Alex Pereira and recent title challenger Jared Cannonier. In January, he got back in the win column with a decision over Nassourdine Imavov.

Main event: Abus Magomedov

Abus Magomedov (25-4-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has struggled to keep fights booked in the UFC. He was supposed to make his promotional debut in December 2021. That pushed to March 2022, then finally September 2022, when he needed just 19 seconds for a $50,000 bonus-winning knockout of Dustin Stoltzfus. Then he had fights fall through in February and March this year. AGainst Strickland, he’ll try to get some momentum going.

UFC debut: Nursulton Ruziboev

Nursulton Ruziboev (34-8-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) stepped up on short notice when Abdul Razak-Alhassan pulled out of his fight against BBrunno Ferreira (10-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC). Ruziboev, from Uzbekistan, will be going after his ninth straight win when he opens the main card at middleweight.

UFC debut: Westin Wilson

Westin Wilson

Westin Wilson (16-7 MMA, 0-0 UFC) stepped up on short notice when Khusein Askhabov pulled out of his featherweight fight against Joanderson Brito (14-3-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) with an injury. Wilson will be going after his fourth straight win.

UFC debut: Ivana Petrovic

Ivana Petrovic

Ivana Petrovic (6-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) comes to the UFC as the Ares FC women’s flyweight champion. In April, she defended her belt with a fourth-round rear-naked choke to move to 6-0 as a pro. She gets Luana Carolina (8-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) for her promotional debut on the prelims.
