Top 5 risers for the 2024 NFL draft

If you look back at nearly every NFL draft pundit’s original top prospects from August, you will see just how much things have changed in just a few months. We’ve logged the hours, and here are the five guys who started the season out of the team picture for top prospects for the 2024 NFL draft but thanks to huge years have put themselves on the map.

Here are our five biggest risers from the start of the season until now.

We knew Sanders was a great quarterback at Jackson State but we did not expect to acclimate and excel at this level so quickly.

S Tyler Nubin - Minnesota

Matt Krohn-USA TODAY Sports

Nubin went from great athlete to great football player since last season and you see him improving every week.

CB T.J. Tampa - Iowa State

In a cornerback class that is deep but not top-heavy, Tampa has a real shot to sneak into the first round with his impressive measurables and production.

OT Taliese Fuaga - Oregon State

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Fuaga finds himself squarely in the first-round mix, just behind Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu is because he’s the best run-blocking offensive tackle in the entire draft.

DT T'Vondre Sweat - Texas

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

You cannot ignore a man who is 6-foot-4 and weighs 364 pounds under any circumstances but when you realize he’s a dominant interior pass rusher at that size, you understand why he could come off the board in the first 50 picks.
