Tickets to McFly's Manchester shows go on sale tomorrow - here's how to get them

Legendary British pop band McFly made fans hot under the collar last week when they announced their first UK tour in seven years.

The 17-date tour will kick off in Bristol on October, 23 and take in two shows at Manchesters O2 Victoria Warehouse on November 16 and November 19 later this year.

Taking to the road in support of the June, 9 release of their upcoming album Power To Play, their seventh studio album to date, general ticket sales will commence at 9am on Friday, May 5 via Ticketmaster, AXS and Ticketek.

Featuring the singles “Where Did All The Guitars Go?” and recently released follow-up “God Of Rock & Roll”, the shows are also expected to include their past hits and dancefloor favourites.

Speaking about their newly-released single, God of Rock & Roll, the band said: "It's a party rock song at its core, but its seed was that if there was a god of rock and roll, we would undoubtedly be worshipping him. A lot of that came from going to shows ourselves. We all went to see Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer last year and seeing so many people had come to the same place to enjoy rock music was incredible.

"Rock music celebrates life and having fun, and it feels like we all got deprived of that for such a long time."

Tom, Danny, Harry and Dougie will be taking to the stage at venues across the UK including Bristol, Norwich, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham and London.

They'll also be appearing at numerous out events throughout the summer, including Dreamland Margate and Sounds Of The City Leeds, Taunton's Vivary Park, Lakefest, Trentham Live and Newmarket Racecourse as well as appearances at Tunbridge Wells, Bath and Chiswick editions of Pub In The Park.

How to get McFly tickets

General ticket sales for McFly's UK tour will commence on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 9am, but fans who signed up to pre-order the new album will already have received an early access code for pre-sale tickets via their website.

Eager fans who missed out on the pre-sale should join the Ticketmaster virtual queue tomorrow early, as demand is expected to be extremely high.

By signing up to the Ticketmaster website ahead of the sale event, ensuring payment details are correct and getting ready to hit that "get tickets" button as quickly as possible, McFly fans should have the best chance of securing their tickets.
