The Chase's Bradley Walsh taken back by player's massive pet

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was taken back by a contestant's unusually large pet.

Bradley welcomed another four players to the show to take on the chaser in the hope of winning a large cash prize. Today's quiz brain was none other than Jenny "The Vixen" Ryan who made short work of today's contestants.

First to feel her wrath was 31-year-old Miriam who managed to bag £6,000 for her team in the cash builder round. Before she got to show off her trivia knowledge, her plans for the money left Bradley rather confused as she revealed it would all be going on an unusually large pet.

Miriam said she was hoping to rehome an aquatic pet who has grown so large he needed a new tank. She said: "My fish tank needs replacing.

"I have an enormous goldfish fish called Steve who's now on his third tank and now he desperately needs an aquarium." Bradley looked visibly confused as he questioned how big Steve had become.

Using her hands as an example, Miriam separated them to around a foot in length as she added: "He's about that size now and he's only two and goldfish can live up to around 25 years so he's [going to end up] the size of a salmon."

After a moment of brief silence, Bradley returned to the game in order for Miriam to win Steve that tank. Sadly, she was no match for the chaser as she was eliminated in the head-to-head which meant the titan goldfish never received that real estate glow-up.
