Surge In Migrants From China And Middle East At California Border

Migrants arrive in Eagle Pass

The border crisis is intensifying as attention shifts to the West, particularly in a small town near San Diego that has become a focal point for migrants from various parts of the world. Situated about an hour east of downtown San Diego, this remote area has witnessed a surge in illegal crossings, with Chinese and Middle Eastern migrants making their way through. The local cartel seems to be facilitating this influx, pushing migrants across the border in this region.

Recent reports indicate that a growing number of migrants, including those from China, Turkey, and Central America, are camping out near a major interstate in San Diego County, waiting to be picked up by border patrol agents. The situation is alarming, with a significant increase in Chinese nationals encountered at the southern border in the past few months. Since October 1st, over 20,000 Chinese nationals have been encountered, marking a staggering 4000% rise compared to the previous fiscal year.

Aside from Chinese migrants, individuals from Syria have also been identified among those seeking entry into the U.S. Their reasons vary from seeking better opportunities to escaping challenging circumstances in their home countries. The influx of migrants in this area is starkly different from the situation in Texas, with no visible security measures like razor wire or shipping containers. California's status as a sanctuary state further sets it apart, with recent initiatives such as taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants.
