Strictly Come Dancing's Gorka Marquez and Gemma Atkinson fans convinced baby on the way amid update

Strictly Come Dancing's Gorka Marquez and Gemma Atkinson are awaiting the birth of their baby boy and the dancer's latest Instagram update has left fans wondering if the new arrival could soon be on the way.

The couple, who met on the set of Strictly in 2017, became first-time parents back in 2019 to daughter Mia. They are expecting their second child together this summer.

And fans think Gorka and radio presenter Gemma's baby could be on his way soon, M.E.N reports.. On Tuesday (July 11) Gorka posted two snaps showing the couple together in their garden, with Gemma's hands cradling her bump. In one as the dad-of-two-to-be checks his watch and in the second, he holds his ear against her stomach. He captioned it: "Not long until We meet you mini G".

And it seems Gemma is eager for the new arrival to make his entrance. In May she told followers Gorka would be home for ten weeks - and time is now ticking. Commenting on Gorka's post she said: "I'm hoping he’s aware you have to leave in a few weeks."

The latest post was enough to have followers convinced the couple's baby could be here any day now. Some pointed to the shape of the Bury-born star's bump - while others suggested some old wives' tales for inducing labour.

@finnthepugandreggiethefrenchie said: "Definitely in slow labour, good luck Gemma xx" and a hopeful @vickylavine_ asked: "Timing contractions? Good luck Gemma." @tinamccann84 said: "So exciting, think his going to have dark hair like Gorka."

@cindy2230smith wrote: "Does this mean your contractions have started?" and @kellykloggs agreed, responding: "That’s what I was thinking".

@sarahanne9156 said: "I think he will come Fri 14th! Exciting times xx" and @apentelow told them: "Anytime soon."

@mcmanusmaurren said: "Cilly con carne did the trick for my oldest girl" and @morty890 suggested: "Raspberry tea.? Lavender oil.?" to hurry the baby along. Meanwhile @caroline.bromley offered: "Fresh pineapple did the trick with my three boys".
