Sony Open Tee Times - Round Three

Alex Smalley strikes an iron shot from the rough in front of palm trees which are in the shape of a W.

Following Chris Kirk's victory at The Sentry last week, attention turns to the Sony Open, with the final Hawaiian event coming to a close at Waialae Country Club.

Scoring has been extremely tight in Hawaii and, going into Saturday, we see a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard, with Carl Yuan, Austin Eckroat and Byeong Hun An sitting at nine-under-par.

As the third round gets underway, 38 players sit just four shots behind the trio and, with a number of big names in that pack, it's set up to be a thrilling conclusion over the final 36 holes.

Amongst the chasing pack, we see 2009 Open Champion, Stewart Cink, who is to feature in next week's PGA Tour Champions event at the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hawaii.

Along with Cink, Matthieu Pavon is enjoying a run in Hawaii, with the Frenchman one of the 10 DP World Tour players who picked up a PGA Tour card in 2023. He is in contention amongst the likes of fellow Europeans Matt Wallace, Aaron Rai and Stephan Jaeger.

Other names in contention include Keegan Bradley, upcoming stars Akshay Bhatia and Ludvig Aberg, defending champion Si Woo Kim and Ryder Cup star, Tyrrell Hatton.

The leaders head out at 12.20pm local time (HST), which is 10.20pm GMT, with a two-tee start in place at the Sony Open Below is the full list of tee times for round three.
