Russell Crowe is so amusingly proud of being a father to superhumans in 3 different movies

Legendary New Zealand actor Russell Crowe has built on a career of playing masculine figures of brilliance in cinema. Heck, you probably know him best for his roles in Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.

But over the last decade or so, the Oscar-winning performer has begun building up a different kind of profile: He’s now been a father to three separate superhumans in three separate comic-book movies.

It began when Crowe played Jor-El — dad to Superman in Man of Steel. Then, recently, he played Zeus in Thor: Love and Thunder, who is famously also the father to Hercules (played by Brett Goldstein). Now with the upcoming release of Kraven the Hunter this fall, Crowe will also be Kraven’s dad. No official name, he is just his dad because this is an origin story and his existence serves to purely be an empty storytelling conduit.

Anyway, when someone on Twitter pointed out that Crowe will now be a father in three distinct comic-book movies, he had a perfect reaction:

Brevity in the face of fatherhood across different realities. Crowe only adds to his acting legend.

This was how Twitter reacted to Crowe's joke
