Royal Family Attends Cheltenham Festival Amid Photoshop Controversy

Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall recently enjoyed a double date at the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse. The first cousins, accompanied by their husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Mike Tindall, were seen having a great time on St. Patrick’s Thursday at the horse race event.

Zara Tindall, who is an equestrian and a member of the Cheltenham Racecourse committee, attended the race for the third consecutive day. Her mother, Princess Anne, a dedicated horsewoman like her daughter, also joined in for the second day of the event.

Various members of the royal family, including Queen Camilla, Princess Eugenie, and Jack Brooksbank, were spotted at the Cheltenham Festival on different days, showing their support for equestrian events in the U.K.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton recently issued a rare apology on social media regarding a Mother’s Day photo that raised suspicions of manipulation. An investigation by Sky News revealed that the original image had been saved twice in Adobe Photoshop, leading to questions about its authenticity.

Public relations expert Mark Borkowski expressed concerns about the situation, suggesting that the palace's handling of the issue may have exacerbated the problem. However, a palace insider downplayed the incident, referring to it as a minor setback rather than a major crisis.

Amidst the photo controversy, doubts were also raised about a picture of Princess Kate driving away from Windsor Castle with Prince William. The agency responsible for the images clarified that while the photos were cropped and lightened, no doctoring had taken place.

Photographer Jim Bennett emphasized that their photos are minimally edited for light levels and do not undergo significant alterations. The incident highlighted the intense scrutiny faced by the royal family, particularly in the age of digital manipulation and heightened public attention.
