Miramax's 'Here,' a highly anticipated film reuniting director Robert Zemeckis with stars Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, is set for a three-step platform release this November through TriStar Pictures.

The film will debut exclusively in Los Angeles and New York on November 15, followed by a limited release on November 22, and a wide release on November 27. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the premiere of 'Forrest Gump,' the iconic film that first brought this talented trio together.

Zemeckis collaborated once again with screenwriter Eric Roth to adapt the script for 'Here,' which is based on the groundbreaking 2014 graphic novel by Richard McGuire of the same name. The movie promises to be a unique exploration of multiple families and a significant place they share, spanning generations to encapsulate the essence of the human experience through themes of love, loss, laughter, and life.

In addition to Hanks and Wright, the cast includes Paul Bettany, Kelly Reilly, and Michelle Dockery in key roles. Notably, groundbreaking digital de-aging technology will be employed to portray the characters at different stages of their lives, enhancing the storytelling and emotional depth of the narrative.

Zemeckis expressed his enthusiasm for incorporating cutting-edge technology into the film, emphasizing the importance of seamlessly transforming the actors into younger versions of themselves to bring the story to life. The collaboration with AI technology firm Metaphysic and Hollywood agency CAA has enabled the production team to achieve unprecedented levels of realism and authenticity in the visual effects.

'Here' is produced by Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Derek Hogue, and Bill Block, with Jeremy Johns, Andrew Golov, and Thom Zadra serving as executive producers. The film is poised to deliver a compelling and emotionally resonant cinematic experience that pushes the boundaries of storytelling and visual effects in the industry.
